CHAD ZUMWALT FOUNDER/LEAD INVESTIGATOR

My name is Richard Chad Zumwalt. I’m 28 and born in Vancouver Washington on July 23, 1978.

When I was 7 years old my family moved to a small town in Washington state named White Salmon, “Where to this day, I am still living,” it was a little sleepy town, or so everyone might have thought.

Growing up I was always the kind of person that never believed in anything unless I saw it with my own eyes.

What sparked my interest in the paranormal was when I was 16 years old I got my first job at the local grocery store, But the store did have a few unusual aspects about it, other then having really high prices on everything in the store, because they had the corner on the market! Being the only grocery store in town, it also was built on top of an old pioneer cemetery.

Of course this was the perfect making for a ghost story. All my coworkers had stories of the boogie man doing a little shopping after hours, but we all know how being in a 100 year old building that was smack on top of a graveyard could very easily make one’s imagination run away.

Well to make a long story short, I was the closing clerk and was locked inside the store alone from 11 pm till the freight crew arrived at 2 am to let me out.

I witnessed a number of unexplained phenomena that could not be explained. Everything from the sound of footsteps to objects moving on their own and even what appeared to be a female voice that spoke into my ear one night.

I discovered that nearly everyone that had worked in that store had claimed to hear a woman’s voice. It was not the only time I heard the voice Needless to say since I was not on any mind altering drugs at the time, LOL, what I was experiencing, along with many of my coworkers was evidence leaning toward the fact that there is something out there that is supernatural. And that’s where the dilemma comes into play when trying to document paranormal phenomena.

In the past those who have tried to study it have failed, simply because you have to go about it completely open minded the word supernatural means it’s something that happens in our world, based on science that should not happen. So when scientists try and study it, they can’t be open minded enough to pursue it past the point of modern science because according to our world it is phenomena that defy all the rules of science as we know it. In the past my friends and I would go out to locations that had a reputation for being haunted but never documenting the phenomena we encountered. It was no more then a hobby.

There were a few years that I stopped doing it. It was only when we started viewing the evidence that other ghost hunters had captured, that I made the decision to start hunting again! Because in my opinion, the evidence out there that was being captured was not all that good.

In most of the evidence we looked over, the only thing being caught was their own over active imagination. So this time I’m going about it a little more serious. Within the last year we have captured and documented some of what could be considered the most shocking and controversial evidence regarding the paranormal and the existence of it. I know what you’re thinking; everyone out there these days claims they are ghost hunters, because of the Hollywood ghost hunters on T.V.

My plans are to introduce a new personality to the field of Paranormal Research. One that is humorous but the real thing. There are so many teams out there that claim to try and debunk anything they encounter before claiming it as genuine evidence, but always let their personal opinion get in the way. The evidence we capture is raw and unhampered with. We collect it with the sole purpose of it perhaps helping to answer a few of mans age old questions? What really has been haunting the living throughout history, and to this day continues to keep us fearing the return of the dead? And what does really happen to us when we die, there has been a verity of activities reported and documented regarding the paranormal. The most common is that of the existence of both positive and negative spirits, a lot of teams believe in human and inhuman spirits. A lot of investigators during an investigation will ask the spirits personal questions about there past life, go as far as to bring in a medium to contact the other side.

My team has documented both types of phenomena positive and negative, my methods of conducting an investigation are different but at the same time very controversial. I have always believed that if you want to get a reaction out of anyone, is to taunt them!! LOL We don’t use EMF readers inferred cameras or any of the included 50,000$ worth of equipment. My team and I taunt the entities using no more then a sense of humor, and the guts to stick around and document what happens, Guts? Or not enough common sense to be scared? According to a lot of opinions out there, it’s lacking common sense. We have been banned from numerous paranormal chat forums for doing no more then giving our personal opinion and posting some of what we have captured on our investigations.

We have been labeled damaging to the field of paranormal research, and also labeled as a “conjure or someone who taunts the spirit realm” and my methods of conducting an investigating should be considered dangerous, at the same time my team has also received a large amount of positive response regarding our evidence. I have a little word of advice for all who claim to be ghost hunters if you fear what your hunting then you better get a different hobby. I have a lot of experience with haunting of all types. Even the most aggressive and terrifying. This is a fascinating field and there is a lot to learn from these Phantoms that in the minds of so many living today have faded into myth, but the Boogie Man does exist. So wish us luck!!!
